And as others have pointed out, the posts in this thread are a lot saltier than anything McDavid said.So what, McDavid should have said their team sucked instead of answering Oilers media stupid whiney questions lol

But people here keep saying we are bottom feeders and nothing has changed eventhough we changed 15 players on the roster, added new backup goalie, new coach and assistant coach and new waterboy and janitor etc. Yep still same team as last year lolThe thing is,the Canucks are better this year, then last season. And it showed .
Nah the salt was coming out of McDavids tear and people here are just pointing it out. And Oilers also have the saltiest player in the league in Drai so I think Oilers are good with their surplus of saltiness which HFboard can't compete with. And as others have pointed out, the posts in this thread are a lot saltier than anything McDavid said.

2 things. After the hullaballoo from Covid, if Demko is that sick why the f*** was he playing?
That's what he did the first 2:20 minutes. Handled it pretty diplomatic and never said anything about the opponent until the reporter brought it up.So what, McDavid should have said their team sucked instead of answering Oilers media stupid whiney questions lol
Mcdavid in recent months his appearance looks awful. Almost like the guy just focus on hockey and forgets to shower.
He didn’t question it. He was asked the question, gave a fairly diplomatic response, and the clip ends in a hard cut.
About 90% of the responses so far are from people who can’t be bothered to watch a 3 minute interview clip before needing to get their cute little comment in and I’m supposed to believe any of you watch the games?
I think goalies don't get pulled because you don't want a cold goalie going into the game unless there was an injury or you are losing badly or you want the team to respond.I think this is a non story, he was asked a question and answered it. Now it's up to them to respond on the ice.
For the record, even at 5-1, I was not comfortable with that lead. We blew so many huge leads to start the year last season which blew the wheels off our season before November had started. Not saying the Canucks sent a message to the league last night, but they sent one to themselves for sure.
I don't understand why Goalies are not pulled in favorable blowouts more often. Getting them some rest and more minutes for the #2 has to be a good thing.
I understand that. I also understand neither team won the Cup or reached the finals. Vegas showed their quality and Edmonton could not match, or adjust, and Edmonton didn't change much if anything significant in their lineup in the offseason. It may be a homer stretch but it's also a pretty consensus stretch. I actually haven't seen a list that doesn't have us near the top. Have you?
Perhaps we view 'homer' differently.
Eg. Athletic has us and Canes as 1/2.
This is a funny comment because I don’t think you watched the video. He gave a response which is the subject of the thread.
Yea it was 10-0 mb. Just sharing how it was funny.11-1 preseason game?? When was that because it surely wasn't this year lol. People love to magnify that 10-0 loss to the Flames when Canucks were playing their ECHL roster full of AHLers, scrubs and 7th string goalie to the point where they even add to the score like 11-1 or 20-0.
Because he isn't a whiny princess like McDavid?? He is a real man
Every single one of you that's pissed at him and his response, think about it just a little bit. Guy got blown the f*** out on opening night, and he's being bombarded with questions that are stupid af, the reporters know the answer to it. Imagine spending your entire life dedicating everything to hockey, being a lifetime competitor and losing and then reporters are asking you these stupid ass questions. Just for 1 second put yourself in his shoes, he's a competitor, he's pissed, he's a human being, relax, holyyyyyyyyyyy. He sounded salty but who wouldn't, everyone wants to win.
Wonder if/when teams will start building a proper warm-up area for backups into their arena, effectively creating hockey's own bullpen.I think goalies don't get pulled because you don't want a cold goalie going into the game unless there was an injury or you are losing badly or you want the team to respond.
I literally lol'd thanks XDThe folks here can’t even order drive-thru without stuttering.
That's interesting, what would they do in the "Bullpen" Lmao, like an area where they have guys just ripping shots on them? The more I type this the more it makes actual sense? lolWonder if/when teams will start building a proper warm-up area for backups into their arena, effectively creating hockey's own bullpen.
Could be interesting strategy.
