Still 3 periods to go, but I think is demonstrative of how far ahead he is of last year.

So he had 66 in his remaining 43 games last year. I'm too lazy to go back to what he had in his 36th and 37th game last year, but that's a 139 point pace across his last 80 games. Ridiculous.

I'm still waiting for McDavid's production to scream to a halt, but he's just immensely lucky to get 4 assists with all that coasting and other players driving his line.

EDIT: With fifth point, knock two more centres off the list, and only 28 players with as many as half his points.

It's funny having lived through Wayne and Mario scoring paces and a few 150-point players as well - I find myself a little numb to all this. I know I shouldn't be, but I am.

It's slowly starting to hit how impressive 150 would be during this era. I really want him to win a cup, with Edmonton would be nice. What's interesting is, I don't Mcdavid has hit one of his hot stretches yet. He's just consistently good.

Pretty sure he also has a way easier schedule going forward than he’s had so far this season. Pretty likely we see the highest point total since 1995-96 atleast, and 150 is more than possible.
