Myers has been suspened two other times during his career, a three-game suspension for boarding Montreal Canadiens forward Scott Gomez in 2012 and a three-game suspension for a hit to the head of New Jersey Devils forward Dainius Zubrus in 2014
Ahhh ok, his 2014 wasn’t coming up

Honestly, Pens fan, watching the play for the first time -- what a garage league. Garland literally holds Mcdavid so he has to do something about it. Same shit Mario had to deal with. Should have been nothing. Don't cheat.

Respect for this post and I’m glad you brought up Lemieux. Dumbest league in sports and it appears little has changed since Mario got mauled on a nightly basis. Most here don’t watch the games, so they don’t understand that being the best player in the game, McDavid puts up with this behavior on a nightly basis from lesser players who need to try anything to contain him and only recently has hit a boiling point after close to a decade of it.

Feels like a 1-2 game suspension on precedence. Meanwhile a headshot is anywhere from 0-2 games typically (should be more).

Does anyone feel as though Parros has done anything to add any credibility or consistency to the DoPS? Seems he was a major swing and miss by the NHL.

He is very dirty. Look a the elbow the other night, now the cross check to the face.

Should have been 5 + games.
Like yeah, he's an incredible player, and I have (like most people) a generally positive view of every star player in the league because they're good at hockey. But the amount of dirty nonsense, hiding behind refs, etc. is pathetic. And this isn't just anti-Oilers bias as I really like watching Draisaitl (and hate seeing him score against us).

The man has to defend himself. I don't agree with the stick work, next time he should just drop his gloves and send a message, but stars in the league have to protect themselves when the league will not do so.

...so drop the mitts; don't be a Dbag and try to wrap your stick around someone's jaw...

Generational talent, but terrible attitude and a bad temper. He has those hissy fits and is used to getting away with it. He is lucky it was only 3 games. Could have been more easily.

The elbow alone the other game was a suspension.
