You could gloat, you've earned it, but stop twisting reality...the Leafs lead the North Division for almost the entire season with Tavares in the line-up...so count your blessings too that Tavares got injured in the first game...made the playoffs 5 years straight (if you count the qualifier last year)...so not a playoff team is nonsensical...a Cup contender? Not close. The Leafs choked, period...bet you weren't so thrilled when the Leafs tied the game in Game 5 and Game 6 to force OT.

not gloating, it is nice that some fans finally realize that this team is overhyped during the regular season and not constructed to do much in the playoffs, it will be interesting to see what happens in the offseason.

We actually agree, few players showed up. That's why half the player of Tavares calibre was needed to tip the scales.

Remember that Columbus supposedly shut down the leafs top line the year before. If it happens 5 times in a row then the common denominator is the leafs top line. Not the Habs or Blue Jackets.

Montreal beat Winnipeg because Winnipeg isn't a great hockey team and are especially thin on D. Take away Scheifele and they fall apart. That's entirely predictable.

Colorado or Vegas who won't be getting outworked will pick apart Montreal.

Colorado actually looks like they may as gutless and spineless as we ate under tight checking. Vegas currently has their stars with all their tails between their legs for the past three games like our had. They’re obviously a lot better than us, and Vegas better than Montreal, but Colorado seems to modding that competitive, rise to the occasion gene like we are too.

Holocaust victims is kind of extreme...but yeah, 54 years without a Cup and 17 years without winning a round in the playoffs...that's painful indeed...I think this year is extra disappointing since the path to the final 4 is easier than being in the Atlantic Division...and there was actually decent depth all around despite the flat cap...it was despairing seeing Tavares go down...didn't feel good about the Leafs' chances after that, but there was so much hope up 3-1 after losing the first game...the rest is history.
