And no one complaints. The players are skating around with frozen snot all over their face and everyone in the audience standing there like half drunk snowmen.
No thanks!
Good game, Sweden didn't look to interested though
Oh come on! Don't take that away from us!
It's like saying you guys just tied 4:4 after 4:0 in Football WC qualifiers just because Germany didn't thought that swedish nationals other than Zlatan could handle a ball
tbh, Sweden surely wasn't on 100% today, but still, great game from both teams, unlucky ending for us![]()
Except it was the worst effort I have seen from tre kronor in a long time
*cough* Torino *cough*
haha, oh yeah, same with the Ruhrgebiet. Although the Ruhrgebiet is basically "everything but football" nomansland
Yes? That's almost ten years ago in My book that's a long time.
Worst part of Bandy is that only Sweden and Russia are the countries competitive at it.
I played Bandy in Norway and was not a superstar but pretty good. Moved to Sweden, played basically on the same level and was blown out of the water. It looked like I never touched a stick. It was very humiliating.

Bandy is basically just a hobby in Norway though, not nearly as professional as those countries, so its not weird at all. No inside-rinks, and few players. And yes I play![]()
Wait. Wait.
They have indoor rinks for this?
The things I have learned today.
Hockey players and their muscles last 5 minutes on a bandy ice. Maybe guys like OEL would do ok, but then he's a young guy.
You have it too. Kind of.
Hahaha. Not to disparage our National Team, but it looks like someone gave the local beer league team Bandy sticks and red jerseys and proclaimed them Team Canada
I'm only 27. Do they have stay at home D in this sport? Maybe I can still make it to the Olympics, hahaha.
Btw, when ice hockey just came to USSR, it wasn't very popular, unlike bandy (which was called Russian hockey here). So first Russian hockey players were actually bandy players. The only things they could do were skating and passing. They couldn't even lift the puck when shooting. And they managed to beat some Czech professional team in 1946.
It's because of bandy Soviet ice hockey was always about speed, good passing and skating.
