Ok, now I can properly apologize!

Sorry guys I was really mad after that goal!

Good luck in the tournament and don't take it personaly :shakehead

No problem. Emotions. :)

@SCBDude: He had some consistency problems...but what are you expecting from a goalie behind pylons like Trunz and Grieder? :D He was a good goalie for us. In some games like today.

@doug88: It's not always funny to be an Ambri fan...yes. ;)

At least you have Inti! :yo:

Only a matter of time until he goes to a big club...unfortunately.

By the way...his creativity could help our national team...

I start to get the feeling Hanlon is the wrong guy for this team.

And you could just tell that Masalkis will stand on his head again, after some srf "expert" singled him out as the weak spot

Sorry for the potato quality, but here's the GWG:

My kid plays at Latvian U10 - things which I learned:
* no team comes on ice to loose
* each team have a chance to win

Neither Germany or Austria will give up against Latvia. Those will be hard games.

Have you actually seen their games? They're clearly worse than Switzerland in most respects.

Moot point, given the problems Latvia have with scoring goals. Especially Germany and Austria will probably clog the middle zone like hell. And you just know that the Latvians will make a couple of mistakes and give their opponents a few chances. So all these games could go either way. I'd say teams like Austria and Germany are more dangerous because of Latvian tendency to underestimate them, especially following a big win against Swiss.

re: refereeing, it was alright, the only penalty which looked wrong was the call on Cibulskis when he stupidly turned over the puck, hurried back and was adjudged to slash the second Swiss guy going for the net. On the replay, you could see that Cibulskis never made contact with the Swiss player, he went down on his own while Cibulskis clumsily took out Masalskis. Maybe they just punished Cibulskis for his stupidity, not for the foul.

That's not really true. We just aren't comfortable with being the ones that should carry the play, mostly because our F talent is what it is.

Problems with scoring goals as evidenced by what? The games against Canada and Sweden?

And, once again, that's exactly the point that these next games could go either way. Swiss were the clear favorites against us on paper. Hence the much better chances of getting points in the next few games.

And, no, we are most definitely not underestimating Germany. Austria - maybe, but I'm sure the players remember how the last game went.
