GDT: May 5 • Denmark vs. Belarus

Kavyrshin scores his 2nd goal of the night and he had just 4 goals in 50 games in the KHL last season. I've seen everything now.

I really hope Denmark doesn't get relegated. They would be a lot better if they actually had all the players to pick from. That's one thing I never liked that the NHL prevents some hockey nations from succeeding.

Denmark a re missing 11 players that would be locks:help:

Mikkel Boedker, Frans Nielsen, Jannik Hansen, Nicklas Jensen, Peter Regin, Lars Eller, Frederik Andersen, Nikolaj Ehlers, Philip Larsen, Stefan Lassen, Mads Christensen..

Out of those 2 are still in the PO in NHL, 2 in the AHL, and the rest were Either denied by Their teams or Said no. In this case only Philip Larsen (KHL) and Nikolaj Ehlers Said no. :shakehead

I wish we could just arrange the calendars at some stage in my life time. Its just so stupid how it works now.

Its not just Denmark, but we seem to be punished for having a lot of players in North America. Everybody we are fighting against have most of their squads in Europe.

Frans Nielsen really wanted to play, but was denied.....AGAIN! The Islanders GM is a *****.

I said the same thing about Kitarov's goal, those are just like unicorns. No idea how Dynamo fans got so lucky, that Neftekhimik freed them from his cursed presence for next two years.
 
I'm kind of tired of this huge scored goals difference between losing and winning teams. Something is going wrong with the hockey lately.

I was expecting an equal game.
 
Fine.....Now I hope Belarus keeps scoring. Maybe the embarrassment will do something to them in the rest of the games. This is the most pathetic display we have ever performed!

Congrats to the refs for being dickheads here.....sending Lauridsen to the lockerroom for something so stupid.
 
Lauridsen With a GM, this game just, ugh.

I Can see it now, Denmark are relegated, and next year they ice the best team ever, who gets to shine in div 1 :laugh:

:laugh: Nah, as a Blue Jackets fan I'm happy they drafted Oliver Bjorkstrand. Will be cheering for him and Denmark in upcoming games. Belarus doesn't have such talented youngsters.

Told you before....This is not funny. Its just extremely depressing:-(

I can't survive in the b-group. I need a real world championship every year to bring me out of the winter depression.

Maybe the solution is to build a good European league that is stable and can compete with the NHL. The KHL would be better if they were more stable financially.

I think they paid Krikunov under the table to take Kitarov off their hands :laugh:. You know, Krikunov is our man, he was a head coach when Belarus beat Sweden at 2002 Olympics.

Yes, I think that's the only thing that can do it. There are some really damaging voices inside NHL ownership...There are some owners and GMs that clearly see the big picture, but there are a lot of people with votes who doesn't give a **** about the overall health of hockey or any long term goals.
