It looks like, as long as Denmark manages to stay out of the penalty box, Belarus will have a hard time to turn this one around.

Eating some delicious crow as I type this.

Dave Lewis is a good coach. He uses this crappy roster properly. Can't believe Belarus has a lead while our top line is scoreless.

Ustinenko is 19 years old and he's undrafted. Wondering if he caught some eyes of the NHL scouts. He's got size and decent puck skills.

He probably needs to put some serious points on the board to get really noticed. On top of that he has two years on his deal with Dinamo, so I don't think NHL is an option in near future.

Morten Green is pissed. Hope he can light a fire under their ass.

I didn't even know that he just signed with Dinamo. He probably will take Shinkevich's place who was traded to Vityaz.
But Belarusians are not like Russians. We let our players go to North America pretty easy. Just pay Berezhkov (the Dinamo GM) a few thousands dollars under the table :) I think Belarusians are happy about development of Yevenko, Hrabarenka, Denisov, Korobov, Demkov, who played in the AHL for a while.

Not sure that Demkov is a good example of development and neither is Sergei Kolosov. Also what good is development, if the NA team doesn't release a player for WC, like with Graborenko? :/

Welcome to denmarks world:P

:P We have the better parts of a full team missing:p

There are however far better coaching in NA than in Russia.

Yeah, that's a problem. They also didn't release Grabovsky. What pisses me off in this situation most is the fact they never kept Russians away from playing at the WC.
You know Belarusian team even better than me :) Kolosov is a head case, he's just a lazy bum. Demkov has never had talent. But look, our best defensemen Korobov and Denisov grew up to this level in the AHL. Gotovets, Yevenko and Graborenko are growing up as players. Denisov just signed with AkBars for another 2 years and he's clearly better defenseman than most of his Russian teammates from Ak Bars. I never thought he could become this good. And yes, "there are however far better coaching in NA than in Russia". Look at what Dave Lewis has done to our bums like Kitarov and Kavyrshin they even look like a half decent players.

That was it.....And I started the day in such a good mood. I really feel depressed now. This might end up being it.:-(
