GDT: May 4 • Canada vs. Czech Republic

Alabama Shakes are a good classic-sounding band also. Seen the Sheepdogs live with Monster Truck. Unreal performance.
 
pleasantly surprised with the game Smith gave us today...if he can maintain that for another 7 games, we got a good shot at it.


fun game all around.

It's really too bad. He could have found a home on any team in the NHL, very solid complimentary piece as an "elite third-liner".

yep he was an RFA.. you're right it's a pity because there isn't much small, sneaky, tough team players like him.. reminds me of Marchand or St.Louis. Yeah the crowd applauding the team even after the loss.. they played great so why not

He wanted a third line role, not top 6.

Nobody really knows, the Blues tried to get a deal worked out all year and Sobotka was playing games. I'm someone who would have happily have given Sobotka over $3m on a multi-year contract a couple of years ago, but the sole reason he isn't in the NHL is because he was an idiot.

St. Petersburg and Moscow

The year after that, Paris. I'm going to Paris. Although, if Hockey Canada needs a translator for next year, I'll be interested in doing it. Just pay my expenses.

Oh yeah, it was a 3C role, I remember some Blues fans were saying he'd be be behind 3 guys on the deth chart. Backes Stasny and umm Lehtera? (sorry, I don't follow Western Conferences players as much)

Not sure Russia appeals to me...Paris would be ok tho..Prague looks like a blast tho...

What about the world juniors locations?

I can assist you if hockey Canada pays my expenses...only know English tho:laugh:
