Canada looks like they mean business this year. No quarterfinal exit this time around. Certainly not the way they're playing. And they're only going to get better.

Also that Giroux to Crosby goal warmed my heart :)

We shall see. It's not the first time the last 5 years they have looked good in the group stage.

Hopefully they keep this up. No screwing around this year when the going gets tough.

Man I wish I was in O2 right now..

I was there :) and it was... awesome. The crowd, the arena...exciting, really. :handclap:

also, what an applause for Sidney Crosby (when the rosters were announced, before the game)

If they beat the Swedes and finish 1st in Group A, they are most likely about to face either Slovakia, Belarus or Denmark in QF. There is no way in hell they would lose to any of those teams.

Damnit really regret not going to this in Prague, a gorgeous city with great people.

Waiting for Paris might be too long as who knows if I'll have time.

Hmmm. I may plan a Euro trip around the 2018 one. Copenhagen is a gorgeous city and I would love to watch hockey in Europe.

an unimpressive sched of games on today's ticket...

no decent warm up game for tonight's NHL action... oh well, yesterday was a treat.

So weird that all the big teams are resting on the same day.. Maybe they all want to watch the Champions League? :)

Mad props to the Czech crowd during that game. The whole arena was jumping up and down in the last minute when they knew their team had lost the game. That was awesome.
