I'm slowly growing to like this trade. I'll gladly eat crow if he even maintains 80% of this level and plays centre. I was a Galchenyuk fanboy since before his draft, but Domi is showing a level I never thought possible, and he's doing it at centre. Galchenyuk was mishandled, but hey, I'm not complaining now.

Coyotes fans saying Domi wasnt liked in the lockerroom there.

94-122-30 during the 3 years where Domi was on the team.

218 points out of 492 possible.

Average of around 13 200 fans per game.

I'm not sure anyone likes anybody on that team.

This feels right. I actually thought the first I read it that you were wrong about him not tilting the ice but I think you're right there as well. He's not exactly dominating EVERY shift or even the vast majority. It does feel like he's doing it ENOUGH of the time though.

I'm kind of split 50/50 of how legit his play is. This is what I expected him to be in the NHL roughly (not as a C mind you). I was a big fan. If you told me 3-4 years ago we had both Drouin and Domi, I'd be doing back flips.

It seems like he was handcuffed in AZ. Injuries might've played a part as well. He's also young and just legit got better over the years. Those boxes are ticked in his favour.

But then you got the fact that he has a history of hot starts. Many players have looked amazing or overachieved with a new team. The shooting% indicates his goal production isn't sustainable (which isn't that bad a thing). And then you have to factor in the biggest variable which is that we're not allowed to have nice things EVER. So that's the CON column as far as I can see.

I think if Lehkonen can wake up (he's doing good things but I don't know if he's a good fit as well as I think he's just genuinely snake bitten) or Domi can have someone more effective in that role then maybe he could flirt with 60-70.

Nah he was being even handed. There's other posters I'd direct your reply too personally.
If he turns out to be a defensively r responsible 55-60 point center the trade is a home run
