Another dirty elbow last night. His size doesn't help much in that regard. Needs to work on it.
Dirtiness will lead to more dirtiness. Be careful, but is there a clean monster?
Statistically the time from 2004 up until now, has been historically the least brutal and dirty era of NHL hockey (starting after WWII). I'm curious if Rempe actually will have such a big impact, that we enter a new era of rougher hockey. Not sure I like it.
Hit was dirty and will get him a deserved suspension but I hope they take into account Siegenthaler pulling up to avoid the hit. Much like Bastian the other day, the Devils spent the entire game avoiding hits. Laf on Hughes is another example. Hughes turned to avoid a big hit and went face first into the boards. Refs bailed them out by calling the cleanest hit imaginable.
