McAdam wasn't even Penn State's best goalie, so I'm not surprised by this at all. We got a locker room guy. Happy to have MM back. Clutterbuck definitely going to be part of a package deal somewhere else.

That's fine if that's the case. As long as we have a direction one way or another. I trust Lou and Trotz. I like the culture change anyway.

Big thing last two years that I have said repeatedly, guys didn't know their roles. Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck did and had success. Komarov, Khunackel and Filpula know their roles on the PK too, we needed forwards that can PK. So far I'm ok since the exodus of Judas, just hanging out for now.

I know it's tough at the moment, but let's not be negative with our thinking that its apart of a TOR dehaan signing, instead I believe this to be the opportunity for a Karlsson/Ryan deal to he put in place with the potential for clutterbuck or Ladd to go the other way

I'm not saying I agree, but I'm now certain that's what our front office is thinking. These are moves being made with the clear understanding that NYI are going to suck next year.

There was also talk on rotowire app that the Rangers were interested in Komorov.

They most definitely were. They have a ton of Russians on their squad, including prospects. It would have been great for them to bring in a veteran hard-worker in Komarov to help bring them along.

I don't even think we are trying to compete. I think we are at that level of Risk where you know you can't win, but you just start sabotaging someone else.

Yea, pretty much. This is at least much more entertaining than "Isles sign Jon Sim" followed by "Isles are done". We will likely not be entertained during the season, I'm popping all the popcorn now.

I have to respectfully disagree. I see this the other way. I see all this moves as a process for soemthing bigger. Now Lou can shed bad contracts to put in place for a larger deal.

Karlsson will see the money and run from Ottowa if he truly doesnt want to be there anymore
