Probably never crossed Ritchie's mind to actually give a shit.

I'd wager quite a lot doesn't cross Ritchie's mind besides taking bad penalties.
I will give him credit for trying to be a teammate for ending Rozsival’s career after he’d taken Perry out with a cheap shot.

Know who you’re talking to before you stick your chin out and dare him to hit you to draw a penalty…

"You guys have a mind?"
- Nick Ritchie (probably)
If Ritchie couldn't play hockey where would he be, working at a bar as a bouncer ? But then he loses it and beats some guy too hard and is fired. So then he's working at wallmart stocking shelves or delivering pizza for Pizza hut.

McTavish had his highest scoring output during games 21-40. During that time, he was a mad man on the PP! At game 39 to 50, McTavish played as 1C in all except one game. With better linemates as a 1C, McTavish's +/- rating was held low between games 41 to 60. We can see his offensive production tail off fast and it's due to his lack of scoring on the PP.

On the ice, he looked a bit worn down around game 50.

Anaheim needs to figure out how to have a better PP so McTavish can be dangerous once again. It would be great to see if McTavish can be close to a point-per-game player next season with an actual summer off!

Kid's a horse. I'm still don't think he'll be a big point producer (like consistently over PPG), but an elite 2-way center a la ROR for a very, very long time absolutely. Someone you absolutely hate to line up against because he's going to compete, and beat you all over the ice.

Once someone told him he can now play physical in game 1, he has kept it up. 3 points already and earned the trust of the coach to put him out there with Vatrano and Strome to tilt the ice.

I wouldn’t mind at all if he ended up another Ryan Kessler. 50 points and tough as nails to play against.

I think his skillset should consistently set him at a higher points than that, but I don’t think he’s going to pushing 90 points or anything like that consistently. He’s a puck hound, bull, has great hockey sense with good hands. Will rarely produce “wow” moments but a player coaches love to show he he does all the right things at a very very good level. His assist tonight is perfect example of just making a smart, 10 foot play to put a player in a great position and he’s gonna do it consistently 80% better and more consistently than other players.

If Mac becomes Kesler, I think the Ducks would be stoked. I’m not sure Mac has the, shall we call it, mean streak Kes did. I think Mac may have a better shot than Kes though.
