Fans, former players, and the media are seizing the opportunity to cash in on poor Marner. They couldn’t generate clicks from breakdowns using advanced stats on Matthews or Nylander, so they’ve zeroed in on Marner instead. It seems the media has noticed that fans prefer to unfairly target him.Has to be the most hilarious victim complex I've ever seen.
Yet this doesn't seem to be a thing with Matthews or Nylander, not even a little bit. Why is that?
We’re all just mindlessanimals driven by clicks, picking an unsuspecting victim at random and pretending it’s justified.
