Guess it wasn't all his fault in TO lol.
After 2 rds the narrative fron Leaf fan MM haters was its easy competition n he still.isnt clutch. I wonder what their narrative is after these last 2 rds vs Avs n Knights. Im sure its still his fault to them lol.
Solid player with high offensive skill n plays in every situation. PK, PP, last minute, but I guess cause he doesn't run people over........
Id take him over Nylander 99 outta 100 times. TO is the only place he didnt produce as one of the top players on his squad.

Almost more goals in 6 min than in any single playoff run in Toronto.

Who gets more blame? Him, or the Leafs? Did the Leafs have to get that much more talent on the team, or did he have to be better? I don't know who that debate favors.

Very happy for Marner.

Seems like a good kid stuck in just an awful situation for so many years. Fantastic to watch the joy in his game.

Keep the faith Toronto. There's always next year (or the years after that) ...
You can’t compare the players he was surrounded with in Toronto compared to the leadership group in Vegas. Those leaf core players made it easy to give half efforts. There was no accountability. They all folded when the games mattered. Eichel and Stone etc would never allow that.
