How are people that blind? It's so obvious. Maybe there was a second penalty shot coming because of the glove on puck but there was clearly one on the hook.

My goodness were the refs bad tonight. They seriously swung the game harder then Babcock does on a regular basis, which is saying something. Between this and the Boston game, this is going to be a long year. Hopefully it's not the start of a trend, like last year.

The refs got their win. It was the same last game and will be the same tomorrow night. MLSE needs to grow a pair and call them out. Leafs haven’t played well but they had the lead until refs managed the game.

Obviously it's easy to say this after the fact, but with Babcock's goaltending strategy on back to backs we are now basically guaranteed only 1 point on the back to back.

Also, despite the game not turning out how we wanted...

- Matthews looks pretty damn good. Yes he still has room to grow, but he's looking more like a complete player and is often dominating when he's out there.

- Freddy... wow. He's back.

I hate whining about the refs, but this was one of the most disgusting displays of reffing I have seen in a Leafs game. Incompetent reffing has now stolen back to back regulation wins from the Leafs.

Hope someone sucks up the fine and calls them out. Absolutely ridiculous how one sided the powerplays have been the last 3 games. That "hook" leading to a penalty shot was just the cherry on top.

It is not a PS if you grab the puck from outside the crease and pull it into the crease and cover it. That is a minor penalty. Its only a PS if you cover it while it is in the crease.
