Are you going to tell us how Marner f***ed up again tonight?
Did he play like an 11 million dollar player today?

You are a Anti leaf fan...could you delete your profile.

No it is a fact
You have quite a few other posters complaining about him in the gdt.... You got your work cut out for you. Good luck.

Just because I'm not a Marner fan, I'm an anti leaf fan? Are you saying the same to the Nylander haters?

I'm confused is 2.5 PPG in the playoffs supposed to be good or not?

The team won, and he was a big part of the win. Not sure how to measure that in dollars but I'm feeling pretty satisfied right about now. What about you?
So no comment? Im ecstatic but I don't see why Marner is being given credit. He and Tavares were the among the least effective leafs out there. What more do you want me to say? Good job, Reilly, Orielly, Matthews! I'll give Marner credit when it's due... But we have wildly outplayed outside of game 2 and 12 minutes of this game. In the gdt every star was being torched for their effort... Nylander and Matthews came up big. Reilly and Orielly again...Not sure why Marner gets to jump on those coat tails?

You don't think Marner played any role at all in the Leafs win tonight?

Key on two goals, part of the other Matthews goal. He was shit like the rest of them but was on the ice for all 3 comeback goals. Guy is a joke poster. The last like he had Marner was on the Knights.

Certainly not an 11 million dollar role. Not even close.

Lol... You posted in the gdt that Marner had to wake up? You didn't get my like?

Only two plus 2 players tonight Morgs and Mitch. Four games, hasn’t been on the ice for a goal, which is something any fair observer would note.

I mean he hasn't had his regular season magic but playoff hockey is a lot tighter and physical. It's evident that he's struggled to find space to wheel and deal and take over game. That being said he's finding a way to make plays and produce, now quietly leading the playoffs in scoring.

Add in his 5 on 5 play defensive and the PK playing well the last few games. The Bolts are 1/9 in the last 3 games on the PP.

He's doing his job.

Key? One was a board battle that the opponent tipped loose to Reilly, and the other was a set zone entry where he send his pass between two leafs.

Goal 2, Marner loses possession through the neutral zone, luck ends up on Brodie's stick and he makes a seeing eye pass to Nylander. Nylander draws two defenders to him, fakes a shot and passes back to Marner who just needs makes the quick pass to Matthews... There is no sticks in the pass lane.

Goal 3, he makes a set play done by the entire team to gain the zone, reverses the puck backwar between two leafs and Nylander stops it with his skate. Nylander picks it up the puck and shoots the puck for a tip by Matthews.

Got a 4, Tavares wins the faceoff and oreilly gets possession, Reilly chips it to the boards and Kucherov and Marner tie up.... Watch the play and Tampa bays player #48 actually poke checks the puck loose and the puck goes directly to Reilly who scores. Marner gets an assist.

The team is leading 3-1 without really playing that well, while the other team is playing really well.
One more win.
One round at a time

Bizarre that you would respond to my comment by asking me why I have no comment. Are you high?

Edit - I see you commented in another thread that Marner has poor skating technique. I have to say that you make some valid points from time to time but that's completely insane and unless you retract that statement, it's going to be almost impossible for me to take anything you say seriously in the future.

We can quibble over certain things, myself included, there have been moments I want to see more, but objectively you don’t do these things by accident or luck. Then factor in his 5 v 5 play, his huge PK role, this guy is the least of our “problems” this series.

Interesting, Marner is now the only big four player to average a point a game in his playoff career.
