Good to see they are having “discussions”. They are a couple months behind the eight ball, but better late than never. Allsvenskan is not an ideal landing place for either player, but it is still a professional league and certainly beats no hockey at all.

Davos could use some help. The Swiss seem a little less averse to short term rental.

I haven’t heard a boo about Filip Kral, dominated the second tier Czech league and has been promoted to the top league and had two assists in his first too games. This guy flys under the radar but I think he’s going to be a player for us.
Lol I thought he was still with the second team. Nice to see him promoted but that should have been expected. He is way too good for the 2nd tier league.

Niemela with an apple on the top-pair.

I still have no idea how he dropped to the third round- this guy is gonna be steal.
You can add Hirvonen to that list. Also he scored today. Unfortunately game misconduct as well
Wow - so all three of them are playing on the top line/pair for their respective teams? Should be a very exciting WJC for us.
Yeah I'm excited about it. All could make strong impressions.

Brief notes.
Niemela back with Karpat and on the top pair it seems.
Hirvonen promoted to top line centre after being a 1st line winger. Kokkonen on the 1st pair.
Hirvonen played 15:55, 1 goal and 10 min game misconduct for boarding.

Niemela 1 assist in 11:33.

Kokkonen 20:40 ice time

I've been saying that for a while. He's incredibly underrated on this board.

He's going to be a prospect that climbs the ranks quickly.

There is a long way to go, obviously, but boy is our draft class excelling like crazy

Even Artur Akhtyamov's statline is still looking very strong.

I think Kokkonen is going to sneak up on people like this as well. Got hurt at the beginning of last season and had a quiet year after that.

Playing 20:00+ minutes a night this year in Liiga is huge. Niemala seems to be right there with him too but I'll admit I've watched way less of Niemala.

It's a great start, and one of the better ones in our draft class in Miettinen hasn't even started yet.
Wouldn't be surprised if Niemela is a fast climber.

Is Victoriaville ever going to start playing again? I know covid has dumped all over the Q schedule. But part of the Quebec divisions have started back up again, is there a restart schedule for Abramov's Tigres?

Tomorrow’s games:

11AM EST: SDA (KHL)
11:30AM EST: Hollowell (Mestis)
11:30AM EST: Amirov (KHL)
11:30AM EST: Korshkov (KHL)
11:30AM EST: Kara (KHL)
1PM EST: Holmberg (SHL)

Loving everything being posted in here. As another poster said, we need to take it all with a grain of salt and wait a few years to see how they develop but if I can't watch these kids myself, seeing them getting loads of ice-time and getting points is a great sign and consolation! It's better than seeing some of those other prospects that had been drafted and not put up points at all....(2015 draft, 2016 draft, 2017 draft etc...

According to a fan of the Vaxjo Lakers, Holmberg has been one of the best players on the team this season.
