So I guess the 7 day quarantine applies to euro players as well? or just traded players that are a part of NHL protocals? cuz if thats the case, I guess SDA will be playing very soon ya?

I believe this is only for American-based NHL teams, so European players or any free agents would still need the 14.
Makes sense though. This is a major exception, so you want to make it a very narrow window - only teams and players who have already been following the specific NHL protocol.

Ya I figured as much. It would be league specific. NHL has very strict protocol, not sure the KHL does lol

Much less often than my early years of adoring everything Leaf. I still kinda fall into an emotional spot, with a Leaf prospect. Possibly manifesting them into something more, than they can be, or ever will be.

My current prospect, that is emotionally untouchable, is Liljegren.

I don't know what it is about this guy.

I am totally straight, its nothing of that way.

I just really like him. He was sort of top of his class, then he had some health issues and fell to us at 17th. To me, at the time, it felt like a huge win. Still does.

I know trades and tinkering are all part of the "game". But I really don't want to see this particular player, go in a trade.

He skates like the wind. He is big. He can be tough. I don't think he has a mean streak, but he will stand up for himself and more important, a teammate. He has a burgeoning shot, that could be all star sooner than later, and he passes exceptionally well.

Unless he brings back a really good goaltender? I personally don't want to see this guy in anything but blue. And white.

Here are the playoff series for our prospects, and their stats in the series and entire playoffs. I will add the other leagues when their playoffs start.

I think the Marlies can really use Kral, Amirov, SDA, Hallander. Along with Woll, Scott, Lilly, Sandin, Robertson, I think they can start developing some chemistry and get valuable playing time with our systems.

where is a top 10 prospect list for leafs?

tl:dr: In no particular order
[TBODY]

MineEveryone Else

Tier 2Niemela, Amirov, HirvonenNiemela, Hirvonen, Hallander?

Honorable MentionsKoster, Ryan TverbergAhktyamov, Koster, Kral, SDA, Holmberg, Kokkonen
[/TBODY]
It is something like this:

Oh yeah, if you see ppg, it means point per game.

Mix and Match:
Robertson, Sandin, Liljegren, Amirov - Tier 1
Notes: Liljegren is a topic of hot debate. I personally am not sold on amirov yet (sandin dominated wjc and has scored at every level, liljegren has dominated ahl, and robertson just works really hard/has late birthday/dominated ohl in his +1) so if you put amirov down a tier, I don't care.

Tier 2 is like Topi Niemela who dominated wjc and Roni Hirvonen who is doing pretty well for a 19 year old in the liiga despite what the analytics say about him...and he was close to ppg at wjc.

Tier 3 is where the funny s*** is. This is where everyone will have a different list for the last 4 prospects. I personally have Dmitri Ovchinnikov ranked really high. Veeti Miettinen has that nhl caliber shot and he was close to ppg in the ncaa in his first year (he could have been ppg if he was given first pp duties in his first ten games). Many have abramov and abbruzzese to fill out last two, but I need to see more abramov more. For now, I have kral and koster as they are much safer. Filip hallander has driven play in the shl, but hasn't scored. Only reason he's not in my top ten is that I haven't seen him play yet.

NOTE:
I don't have aktyamov the russian goalie in my list. This is because I don't know how to evaluate goaltending, but a lot of people here seem high on him.

It really is amazing how this list, and the quality of our prospect pool, has been transformed through the last 2 drafts. That's how you remain competitive over time, and can afford to pay big bucks to our top 4. Great job done by Dubas and the scouting staff.

Really hard to judge goalie stats out of those leagues. It's obviously a good thing he has good stats, but there are 13 teenagers in the MHL with 0.930+ save % (and that's only goalies who have played 16+ games, so the list doesn't even include Artur because he hasn't played enough).

2020‑2021 MHL Goalie Stats

In the playoffs for example he's 12th in save % among MHL goalies (6th if you want to only look at goalies with 5+ games).

2021 MHL Goalie Playoff Stats

I'm curious to see him in the KHL or AHL in the next few years, because I think that will be more indicative of how he's doing.

You do not like Woll as a prospect?

I believe the reason I don't have woll in my top 10 is that he hasn't done enough to get in my top 10. He's had an okay ncaa career, but his ahl career has been below average. Other prospects project better.

NOTE: these are just one season snapshots. Goalie stats do fluctuate similar to binnington's d+2/d+3.
Dreidger did only play 1 ahl game in his d+3. In his d+4, his save % was .923.

This is a small random sample and I could have used names like vasilevsky or hammond to create an argument.

Even though Joseph Woll doesn't project well, he still has time to improve. Basically all of the goaltenders that I briefly looked at had inconsistent numbers in subsequent years, but most had save % above .900
