That wasn't a good shift for Liljegren.

The shift where a Marlies player gave it away and where Liljegren covered his man but Rosen didn't think the guy in front was someone to worry about? Or did you expect Liljegren to cover two people in front of the net?

That's what I saw

edit: I saw Liljegren force the STK player to make a really good pass

Eh, I know Rosen left Liljegren by himself in front two times, but it's his job to cover his partner. I know it wasn't all his fault, I was just commenting it wasn't a good shift.

Twice Liljegren let a really good chance happen that same shift. That pass although great may have been prevented if he went for the body instead of the puck.

I'm usually on the big shot from the point on the PP is overrated crowd, but it better be enough to keep the other team honest. Rielly doesn't have that. Sandin's shot isn't great either but his wrist shot is decent.
I love to be wrong but I think the team sees Lilly as more of a PK guy then a PP guy. I want to be wrong.

I remember Sandin having a canon, at least for a guy his size, and at least better than Reilly's

For all you know if Liljegren went for the body it would have made the pass easier. To put the blame on only Liljegren is foolish

I think the most impressive performance this period has been the play by play guy. Absolute stud. 1 man band, all energy. He is hilarious
Lol Ive watch all the games against Stockton and can confirm, this guy is a great as opposition team homer announcer.

Was very positive for the Heat when the Marlies were destroying them the first 2 games, and is really humming along now that the Heat are winning. He's very entertaining for a 1 man band up in the booth, imagine him with Jim Ralph? It would be great

I don't care about Rosen. I comment almost exclusively on Liljegren, Robertson, Brooks, and Anderson.

I have no idea what to say to this, what I'm reading is it is Liljegren fault because he was on the ice and I only see what Liljegren is doing and no one else

If that's the case I'm not really interested in your opinion

Read my mind. One of the best.
I am shocked this guy doesn't have an NHL gig, especially in a small US market. He is must watch announcing. My first time watching him last game and was shocked how he ran the broadcast completely on his own. Way too good for minor hockey. Like the Manitoba announcers were combined less entertaining than this guy

Yea I am going to miss the vibes of the Stockton play-by-play guy, an absolute gem.

In a season where the taxi squad exists and pulls a chunk of guys out of the AHL, the NHL should get an extra slot for the AHL to use on players like NR.

You see the difference between Sandin and Rosen. When Lilly isn't shutting things down like today, Rosen is nowhere near good enough to compensate. Having a #1 in Lilly is good, but it's better if you have another #1 in Sandin beside him.

we'll see what happens but I have not been impressed with the HC for the Marlies...I might be spoiled with Keefe tho
It's nothing to with being spoiled. Keefe was an elite coach here, but Moore doesn't look like he belongs here. The last 2 games are similar to last year under him. He is one bad stretch away from losing his job. It's fine though. Snowden is deserving of this job anyway.

Moore just doesn't come across as too sharp in interviews...is that just me or do you guys get that sense as well?
