He's been recalled and is backing up Samsonov tonight.

Fortunately Petruzzelli is healthy too. We probably just didn't use him as the backup since he was going to play today.

I am fine with Petruzzelli running with the Marlies net for a bit. It will be his best chance to show us what he's got, and Ferguson is fine as the AHL backup.

Marlies win 3-1. They comeback in the 3rd from PP goals by Robertson and Steeves. SDA 2 assists.
Seems wierd so early but kind of a needed win. Much improved special teams today

He is faster, but the shot and defense still needs work. He has all year to work on it.
For sure. Steps taken but more development required

Marlies win.

Solid game by Petruzzelli, who will now have a good stretch of time to showcase himself. Needs some work on his rebound control but at least he had solid positioning and didn't swim around.

Offense showed their dominance in the 3rd period.

i think SDA is a prospect who's gonna show up one day out of nowhere and just force his way on the team. just a gut feeling lol but you can definitely tell he's gotten way more comfortable at the pro level and i've noticed he's been shooting a lot more.

Man if rest of SDA's game can catch up, he can be a player. His playmaking is phenomenal.

nah hes garbage. hes too slow, his shot is total garbage and his defensive awarness is beyond laughable.
if your going to be a 1 trick pony in the nhl , it has to be one of the best in the league.

i see his trajectory exactly the same as jeremy bracco

Honestly, I think Bracco was a better player.

In fairness Douglas was terrible the first game. I don't think his benching had anything to with his lack of response

OT but these announcers sound annoying

And other players need to get ice time ... development league.

Again, the player who ran Kallgren was 5'11", 180ish.

Why didn't any other player jump in there? They're too special only the big guy has to do the tough job?

Proximity..

Brendan Lisowsky notched two goals today. He had had a bit of a slow start to the season and these were his first two markers
