Not that I want to add to the sometimes unrealistic hype train that is Matty Knies, but I cam across this video on youtube and I think it's just an incredible highlight pack of what this kid is truly capable of. I imagine it is going to take him a decent amount of time to get adjusted to the pro game, not unlike many college kids, but this kid is going to be very good for us in the future. Most of these highlights we've all seen on twitter or on here over the course of the season, but this video kind of compiles all of them into one video. Truly amazing how dominant this kid is at that level, and I genuinely believe he still has a ton more in the tank to grow in his game. Can you imagine Matty Knies being mentored by AM34??? Is there any better person to mentor him in the entire league??? Probably not.

Enjoy!

I think Jarnkrok has earned some more time with them but if that chemistry dries up who knows, I wouldn't mind seeing him on the Tavares-Nylander line either
With the way Jarnkrok has auditioned on that line the bigger hole is actually beside JT-Willy. Of course that also depends on what happens with ROR when he comes back. 2LW could be any of Bunting, Kerf or Knies or JT if ROR is 2C.

Personally I wouldn't mind:
Jarnkrok-Matthews-Marner
Bunting-JT-Willy
Knies-ROR-Kerf
Acciari-Kampf-ZAR/Laff

Nylander - Lafferty - Kerfoot has all the makings of the HBK line.

Jarnkrok - Matthews - Marner
Tavares - ROR - Knies
Bunting - Kampf - Acciari

feels like im missing someone other than ZAR

Knies will probably start on the 4 th line
Accuri kampf knies
Then 3rd line
Kerfoot ROR Knies

Break him in slowly

I sure hope not. We already have 4 viable prospects. We need D and C prospects.

Hildeby is fine with some starting upside but he shouldnt be your best guy. Petruzzelli may get there but is likely only a backup. The Russians are still major long shots.

A top notch goalie is a need, but probably not worth spending a 1st round pick on. If we trade down, then there are some good guys to consider.

His skill level is extremely high.

If you watched those clips and knew nothing about the player, There's no way you'd think he's 6'3 210 because he's very agile and changes direction very quickly and that's not very common with players that size.

Another thing you notice is just how much more wide open the college game is vs pro hockey and that's definitely something that he will have to adjust too with not as much time or space to make certain plays and the chance you also get flattened increases.

I was including Woll in the G prospect group - still see him as a prospect until.he makes it full time, which will likely occur next year.

Knowing Dubas the Boston pick is being dealt for a pair of mid 2nd rounders. One of those 2nd rounders will subsequently be dealt for a pair of 3rds.

This is the way.
