I thought that was every home game.
I coulda swore I saw *all*, but maybe you’re right.

Marlies tied at 1 atm; Holmberg n Zohorna (with his first Marlies point) had apples on a Jamie Benn goal.
*scoring change: second assist credited to Alex Steeves.

Miller has quitely been developing very strongly considering his late draft selection. Went from having a great USHL season to jumping into a strong Harvard season.

Very progressive line of development so far. He was one of the youngest guys his draft year too - was like a day away from being a 2021 selection
Good eyes.
Very similar to Nick Abruzzese’s development….same timelines, same organizations.
Kid could use a couple steaks in him tho.

His career trajectory is almost exactly the same as Abruzzese to the point where it's just silly. Even won "freshman" of the year in his division lol

From Kyle Cushman

It's far too early to focus on, but Joseph Woll is going to force some interesting goaltending decisions this summer.

He's now 17-2-0 with a .934 SV% across the NHL and AHL this year. Two years left with a cap hit under league minimum and requires waivers starting in 2023-24.

I really do hope they find a way to dispose of Murray, extend Samsanov and run Sammy and Woll next year. Would need an experienced backup as well.

You’re suggesting carrying 3 tenders all season or burying one in ahl ?

One in the AHL. Always a risk of being claimed, but you’ve got to try.
It’s a good option.
In that case, you could always try and keep Kallgren as the 3rd goalie. Even though he’s public enemy #4, he’s probably around average for a 3rd goalie, is RFA and also waiver exempt according to capfriendly.

Yup.

I think Murray has been pretty good but they'd save a ton of money to help the forward group out. Woll has looked good.

I think quite a bit will depend on how the playoffs go. I'm guessing Sammy gets the bulk of the games anyway though so might not really matter.

I’m hopeful that next years sees some more kids integrated almost full time/for the whole year. McMann, Knies and Homberg. Woll. Maybe Steeves.

With the others competing, NickRob, Abruzzese, maybe SDA.

How has Zohorna looked

How has Zohorna looked
Haven’t watched him, personally.
Got a misconduct penalty in his first game, and hasn’t hit the scoresheet in two. No shots, +2.
*looks like Jamie Devane and Kyle Clifford took coincidental roughing minors last night. That woulda been a tilt.

Maybe try for a Magnus Hellberg or Tokarski for 1 year around 900-1M - even 1M is fully buriable but decent insurance, they've had stretches of success.

Maybe Stolarz too, poor year, maybe allows him to go to AHL.

Another option and while not ideal is if Murray struggles or gets injured again, can we not send him to the Minors next year?

Wouldn't be much savings, but roughly 200k+

Better than paying assets to rid themselves of a 1 year contract.

Nice to see his doing well. There is normally a lot of uproar with Dubas' drafting based on size. Well if you go to hockeydb it has him listed at 147 pounds. I remember when he was drafted, obviously most were rolling their eyes as they do, but even the people who don't care too much about size were even baffled. I remember tweets that were like "Ok Dubas has to be trolling us all now. 147 pounds?!!!?"

The Harvard site has him up to 160. So he does have some growing to do, but nice to see the year he's had nonetheless.

It's possible. I'd imagine they could get a team to take him though without offering too much of a sweetener that's looking for goaltending.

He's still had a pretty good season. It's his health that is the main concern.

Worth pointing out McMann will be 27 by the start of next season. He's the same age as Nylander and a year older than Matthews/Marner.

Steeves/Abruzzese/Holmberg will all be in their 24YO seasons as well so while pro (or NA pro for Holmberg) experience is limited for them they need to show they belong. Although I'd say Holmberg has shown he's capable as a bottom 6 player.
