Think that was sarcasm.Wait, are we saying Johnny Gaudreau has not thrived in the NHL?

Thats fair and nobody would argue that. However that wasn't the point you were making. The point was 0.8 wasn't impressive which is incorrect. Historically it's great production.
AgreedIt was for 21 games.
Of course for 21 games he did well, but everyone knows you don't judge a season based on 21 games.
He might have got better and better and been a PPG player, or he might have dropped off.
We're all hoping he can now play out the the of the season in good health.
Robertson is 5’10 177lbs. That is what he weighed in at during Leafs camp.
This is not a Caufield, Debrincat, Ennis, etc. He is bigger and stronger than Gaudreau. Not to mention he plays harder than all of those names combined.
Thats a great forward core especially the top 9
Marlies storm out to start the second, good prospect goals from Steeves n Kral.
Kallgren in the net.
Kral has been outstanding this season. You have to give him a call up later this season.
I know when he was ripping up the NCAA, you were pretty vocal there are some red flags in his game that might hurt him at the NHL level, and I credit to you for being correct.
He should still be a very good player but hype got out of control.
I think Caufield would be a lot better today if he didn't end up with one of the worst organizations at developing forwards. He's obviously got his weaknesses, but there's no reason that he should be unplayable in the NHL like he is nowHe was always the overcorrection on DeBrincat. Teams saw skill, production, and skating, and pretended there wasn't major issues with effort, defense, and general lack of being effective from game to game besides throwing up a point or two on the PP. Best case he was always Phil Kessel, worst case he's Josh Ho-Sang. Looking a lot more like the latter, but I assume he'll fit somewhere in between when all is said and done. It really was a disservice to him that Habs fans talked him up like the next Patrick Kane lol
I'm thinking one more season in the ahl, then third pair for the Leafs.Still say he looked damn good in the pre-season, mistake free, basically never did anything to get sent down.

A huge bonus if he works out as a 5th round choice.I don't know if they'll be able to hold off 2 years but I had originally thought to bridge Liljegren and Sandin 2 years, Muzzin expires
re-up them again to larger deals most likely, break in Kral on 3rd pairing.
I think he's going to force things sooner.

I see that he is now listed at 6'2", 193. If he can add another 10 lbs or so he could probably fill that role.I wanted him badly in the draft, I was wanting him in like the 3rd or 4th round and thought he'd be gone by the 5th round.
Of our prospects, he actually might have a chance to take Muzzin's shut down role too.
Does he have that kind of defensive acumen?I wanted him badly in the draft, I was wanting him in like the 3rd or 4th round and thought he'd be gone by the 5th round.

Against old friend Calvin Pickard.Marlies win 4-3. 2 impressive wins in a tough building.
Goal assist for Kral
SDA a goal
Abramov an assist
Steeves goal and assist
