Cole: AHL 29gl/72pt pace ---- NHL 8gl/25pt pace
Willy: AHL 39gl/97pt pace ---- NHL 22gl/50pt pace

It was a stylistic comparison based on them both being playmakers first, ridiculously strong in transition, and with an uncanny ability to create slot chances for themselves and their linemates while making it look effortless. I'm really not gonna argue this any further, I honestly don't care. I just think this thread was giving too much disrespect to Perfetti and I posted about it instead of deleting it.

And saying he's the best forward outside the NHL was ridiculous. I was almost ready to leave work and posted it without thinking enough about how insane a statement that was.

Yeah I like Perfetti but I can't say I have ever seen future star potential when I watch him and he absolutely is not the best player outside the NHL right now.
Nylander is/was a significantly better skater than Perfetti. Perfetti is closer to a Marner/Skinner hybrid with worse skating

Resubscribed to AHL TV once they put out the Half season price. I’ve been really impressed with Kallgren in the games I’ve watched.

Seems to really track the play well. something I’d say is a bit of a weakness for Woll
I think he's the top goalie prospect as of today. He gets slept on because he essentially replaced Vehvilainen as an older free wallet, but outside of 1-2 recent games that tanked his sv%, he's been sitting at .920 for ~15 games.

Kallgren's ceiling isn't as high as a Petruzzeli/Woll, but he's the most technically sound and efficient (footwork, movement) of the bunch. Way more composed and less of a swimmer than Woll, for instance. People forget he had a .930sv% when Vaxjo won the SHL championship after Fasth got injured.

I think the Leafs will be apprehensive to call-up Hutch and lose him to waivers, so Kallgren could see a couple NHL games this year if another injury pops up.

So, is Greg Moore developing?
Records better, prospects are developing (Kral Abramov and Steeves). Without NickRob and sone of the planned C depth.
Seems less combative in the media.

Too early to say that. Record is better than iy should be because Kallgren was stealing a few games early in the season.

He seems to have calmed down some

He's getting better goaltending but I think the entire team has been better defensively which certainly helps your goaltender

The guys seem to be getting better in season as well so whilst I'm not sold on him yet he is starting to make a decent fist of the situation and I'm coming around on him

Maybe but I'm not convinced. They still get outplayed too much.

We are playing our younger guys a lot so I think we are going to have to live with that a bit

Unless guys are blue chippers they tend to take some time adapting to a men's league with increased quality

Not a fan of him as a coach at all, still think he is hurting the teams ability to win and develop more than he helps.

I mean Keefe had young guys too and they carried the play a lot more.

I see your point of view. There are still games where they appear to be very outmatched, and outplayed. And inconsistent. But there seem to be some encouraging signs at least.
