Let's hope that Minten can have a good season with the Marlies. Such a deep and strong team already. It might be worth checking out a few Marlies games this season.
Should be interesting how they handle the goalie rotation in Hildeby, Artur, and Murray.
The young guys probably get majority of the starts, but you want to have Murray involved too. You might need him if Stolarz or Woll get minor injuries.

Obviously early but it does kind of feel like Danford is the kind of prospect that if you took him with a 2nd or 3rd you would be intrigued by and happy to have in the pipeline....but with a 1st will leave you wanting.
He's struggling coming back from a concussion. Yeah I'd say it's kind of early to be making any assumptions about his long term potential.

I’m just saying, he didn’t really have the draft year production and now has gotten off to a really slow start to this season. If he had a history of it I wouldn’t be as worried about a bad start. Not saying I am writing the kid off or anything but I have my concerns.

Anybody watching the Marlies care to give any update on Niemela? Seems like the guy burst onto the scene a few years ago and hasn't been able to grow his game at all for the last 2 or 3 years.

Definitely a bit concerning that our entire top 4 dmen are over 30 and it looks like we have no good D prospects in the pipeline for the next few years...

He's been pretty good from the few games I've seen. He seems more aggressive defensively and his skill level obviously stands out at that level.

I would not be surprised if he was put in a package for a trade in the next few months but there's a good chance he's a Timmins replacement if he's injured or going into next season. Not sure about his NHL potential and his lack of pre-season games probably isn't very good for his chances.

I have a feeling he won't ever get an opportunity with the Leafs.
