Jeezuz H Christo.... Korpisalo is 0.887 SPCT this year, 0.894 last year and has exactly ONE of his SEVEN seasons where he was above the NHL average for SPCT.

How on earth is this an improvement... and for TWO picks?!?!

I disagree with the thread title. The Oilers called on Korpisalo earlier and the Jackets asked for that return. Edmonton is under pressure to make the playoffs. The connection was not made between the two thoughts. The present tense implies differently. There was no comment made about circling back either.

Friedman did say that he thinks "Holland is determined not to a make a move where he looks at it and says that's just a disaster waiting to happen."
