Epic choke by the panthers.

They'll be an easy out in the playoffs.

It's the second time this week that they fall apart in the 3rd.

Up 2-0 against the Isles at the beginning of the 3rd, lost 3-2 in regulation. Now, up 3-1 vs the Wings, lost 5-3. This doesn't look good at all.

The doghouse
I don't like the idea of enforcers in hockey but damn I wish the Leafs had somebody around that could at least step in and help out guys like Hyman or Soshnikov, etc.

If these scrums moves to fights the Leafs are in trouble.

Yea but it doesn't help when soshnikov is chirping each time we play you guys. Plus Kadri targeting Eichel last game and then throwing a cheap shot at pysyk doesn't help the cause. Basically, I thought the leafs also played a chippy game tonight but definitely don't have the players to throw into the scrums.

I do like what I have seen from soshnikov the last two games. He does need to bulk up a lot if he is going to play reckless/fearless lol.

Didn't know the refs put the puck past Luongo 4 times.

Well they did erase a goal on Howard, made the original call that allowed one of those four to stand, and gifted the Wings two powerplays. But, seriously, the Panthers quit playing.

Not easy when the ref decides to step in and help Detroit with 1 garbage call after another.

Detroit can thank the refs for that win.

Using this an excuse is obnoxious.

The refs are pretty bad every night, to both teams.
There's always missed calls on both sides, there's always questionable calls for both sides.
Sheahan lost his footing, it was a bad call, the wings scored.

That penalty at the end of the period to helm for ousting down ekblad was pretty damn weak too. It happpens. If the refs were perfect, then the excuse would be how the quality of the ice in the neutral zone helped teamX win.

Yeah, both teams had to deal with it equally, but it's the reason we lost.

Florida was up 3-1 and couldn't keep the lead, simple as that.
Still a Fun game though.

The last 3 goals of the game scored by the Wings were at ES. Both teams took 3 penalties and had 13 PIM. Come on, that's not a valid excuse.

Last one was a empty netter so really nothing to talk about there. Still 2 garbage calls that lead to 2 PP goals by Detroit that really changed the game.

Yet somehow they are currently third in the league in goal differential. Joke league! :naughty:

Luongos a hell of a goalie.
And jagr is just a freak.
He must be getting the old sucked out of him in the offseason, or at least stealing the youth from someone spry.

He meant the first two goals. Both PP's were the result of bad calls. Should have been 3-0 going into the third.
