With all due respect, it’s widely known that the man took less $ to play for you.

No, he doesn’t score at the pace he once did, but he endures punishment like a f***ing warrior and does almost all of the small, crucial aspects of the game so well.

The cost was what it was in order to land him. As an outsider I offer my perspective that his skill set & determination to improve & overcome is still worth it.

I’ll be cheering hard for him to be scoring in the playoffs. His style is certainly built for them.

You don’t pass up a ppg 2way home town C today to maybe get a D later. You take the bird in hand and make it work later.

Why the hell is Justin Holl in the corner with Nylander covering on defense on that Barkov goal? Holl needs a very short leash.

He scored earlier on a great snipe. He's exempt from any responsibilities for the rest of the regular season.

What was that old Ray Bourque quote? He makes 15 plays that help your team so you can take the one high profile mistake per game. Holl is the inverse of that where it’s like for every 15 high risk pinches you actually get a goal.
