Agreed on that point as well. There are many facets to the Tavares deal. My position is he was the last guy we needed at that time. That 11 million would have been better spent on goal and defence. I simply don’t believe they needed him

Imo it was either him or resigning Bozak and JVR long term and I would take Tavares over them. Hes still playing at a PPG which on most teams makes him #1 Centre.

Hes definitely declining but I think most people do the exact same thing we did, I wish we kept Kadri too though.
