Leafs really came unprepared for a physical game tonight

Leafs by far the better team after one, even though we played half of it shorthanded

Clifford is dog shit and so is Ritchie. Neither player would have prevented that from happening. Sure Clifford might have punched a face afterwards but Ritchie sure as hell wouldn't have. He is big for nothing.

Calgary had at least 1 shot less than the scoreboard says. They shot the puck in on our net on a play 5ish minutes in that was waaay offside. A shot from outside the zone while you have players in the zone should not count as a shot on goal

Leafs are just not built for this brand of hockey. Hopefully the beat them up on the scoreboard with skill but you don’t want to get pushed around either. I would say that’s an unfortunate result of a good hit with a big guy. Let’s see how they come out in the 2nd.
