We should be able to really take over the game in periods 2/3 with Calgary playing on back to back nights.

Major props to Rielly jumping in to stand up for Kase. That might not seem like that big of a deal but it goes along way in the end and it builds team unity.

I love Kase but that’s why I wouldn’t give him anything more than two years, absolutely banger by Zadorov.

Mo rushes in to defend his teammate, that cheese eating rat f*** Tkaczuk and Zadorov corral him, he gets the only penalty?

Calgary doesn’t win this game if they don’t score here.

Every team wants a Tkachuk type player, he isn't the most honourable player though. I'd rather have his brother at this point.

If I was a defenseman I'd throw my body around like that every game. That's how you do it. Leafs should learn how to play physical periodically. Not just stick checking like pansies.

The cost of actually playing Clifford though would outweigh the 20 seconds of fighting he would do in the game imo. He’s too much of a liability to put in the lineup based on his season to date.

Hence the reason Dubas signed Clifford and Ritchie. A shame neither of them could stick in the lineup.

Teams will do this all year and especially in the playoffs if Leafs don't retaliate harder.

You needed to get a player that can actually hit and play regular games

If you watched Ritchie and pro scouts should have, he has never been a hitter or a fighter in consistent basis

Me too. I have no problem with the hit, but I like competing and sticking up for your teammates. Not that dis-similar to Wayne the other night.
