I have been saying it for a while.

I dont get why Chabot always has most ice time and even less when they say he’s hurt. I dont want him gone but his play hasnt been good this season
I was half watching tonight after the 1st period. But it felt that they wanted to keep Sanderson for any shift Matthews was on the ice.

I've seen them go Sanderson pair, Chychrun, Chabot, Chychrun again then Sanderson( when Matthews entered the ice)

It felt they tried to sheltered the Chabot and Brann pairing.

I'll say this. I know Chabby had an assist on the GTG.. He had not much to do with it but whatever. I would have like to see Sanderson with the empty net

Sanderson did 2 play the result into goal. The DbC was waives off. But have you seen how he attacked the net to create space for the forward? These 2 goals don't happen if he doesn't open space for them.

Forward and Dman should take note. It's offense 101..

The refa do deserve criticism for the two tripping calls against the leafs. I wouldve lost it if those were called against the Sens.

I sometimes wonder if people actually watch the game and see what happens or if they just listen to the pbp team to get their opinion. Of course Leafsnet announcers are going to cry and say the ref made a bad call.

Stick in the feet both times. If you want to argue they are weak calls, whatever, sure. But to claim they are dives when in both instances its obvious trip is asinine

One handed taps against skates are pretty soft as far as tripping goes. I hate Sportsnet and listen to 1200 audio instead.

I'm sorry.

Next time another fan from another team posts in here I'll greet them with the utmost respect
Is it illegal for a fan from another team to post in here? Wow, I didn't know that.

If one shows up to gloat, posts stupid crap, then please, have at 'em - give 'em both barrels. Just saying it doesn't make much sense to attach a guy who is not showing just up to be an asshole.

What's going on is fans don't know the rules regarding icing and get mad. The rule is whoever gets to the faceoff dots first "wins" the race. Tie goes to the defender, the rules are in place to prevent injuries on puck races. Even if the puck rings around the boards and it's clear and obvious the attacking team is going to be first to the puck, the whistle and icing call will still go if the defender reaches the dots first/at the same time
I thought he beat the icing but what really made it a tough call is it's not who gets to the faceoff dots first, it's who, in the opinion of the ref, looks like they will reach the puck first when the first of the players reaches the faceoff dots.

In this case, Chabot had the line to the post, while the Leafs player had to come across to get around the net and get to the puck.

The tap on Tkachuk was a bad call. But, to be fair, they also missed a blatant trip on Stu and a high stick on him.

When you factor in the Matthews dive getting a call, I'd say the game was mostly called even.

Murray should have 100% gotten a delay of game penalty for dislodging the net yet again.

Should I respect this poster @WallyD?
Not at all <Pierre from Orleans>... have at him. Obviously he's your troll you mention. Read the other guy's post. Nothing he said was attacking, in fact the complete opposite. Just because you (we) don't agree with his coaching observation doesn't mean he is out to get you.

Waaaat? Both were legit calls. Refs didn't call a few the other way though in the third, that's for sure.

Do think at the end of the game all calls evened out. Atleast the ref didn’t hand the other team a goal like last game!
