The Jays will sweep the Twins because:

a) not playing their top 2 pitchers
b) not playing a divisional opponent
c) they can’t possibly be this bad
d) they had a player-only meeting

If they lose this series, then changes should be made somewhere. I got no respect for Schneider or Atkins so if they’re ditched at least we start salvaging this season.
They're not going to fire the manager after less than a year because the team has sucked for a week and a half. It's a long season and they'll be fine.

White being so bad isn't ideal given the pitching depth down in the minors is already razor thin as is. Or at least in the sense of guys you can call up.

Wasn't he hurt during most of the spring too? He's basically not pitched at all this season (Fangraphs has him at like 15 total IP across rehab work in Buffalo and Dunedin) It's frustrating, but not entirely unexpected that he'd be out of whack.

What's the word on Connor Cooke? His strikeout numbers are nuts.
All I can really find is from last year, but apparently he was touching 97-98 once they moved him to the pen.

Struck out the side today and is now up to 29 K in 13.2 IP at A+/AA this year. "Nuts" might be an understatement at this point!

Eric Pardinho making his season debut tonight and first start in what feels like about 5 years, but has only been 2 years i think.

Good bounceback series win.

They get a bit of a break against the Brewers since they're struggling hard as well and they avoid the top of their rotation (miss Burnes, Woodruff still hurt)

Game 1: Houser v Kikuchi

Game 2: Teheran v Manoah

Game 3: Peralta v Gausman

Wow, TIL Teheran is back.

The team is last place with their highest payroll in franchise history. If they hover around five hundred going into the all star break I don't think he makes it past that mark. Sorry they are in win now and lots of jobs will be on the line.

You'd figure they'd want it covered playing in the desert
