I know it's so early, but being 6 back of the division lead already is ridiculous

Baltimore has won 7 in row and gained a whopping 1 game on Tampa lol
What Tampa is doing so far is amazing, especially since the worst teams fairly regularly beat the best in baseball, but I think it's important to remember that last night was their 4th game against a team that isn't complete garbage.

Thanks goodness for expanded playoff structure and also for the evened out schedule across MLB.

The grind of the regular season should bring the records back down to some semblance of reality over time.

Either way the blue jays should be playing baseball in october.

Ya that’s the thing. Their schedule has been very easy. Hopefully the Astros take the nest two from them.

It’s a fluky hot start. Remember when the 2009 Jays were 1st place, 29-15, around middle of May? No, you don’t because that team was complete garbage and finished the season with like 77 wins. Who cares who is first place in April or even May?

I remember that because TSN was hyping up the first series at Fenway that year to high hell. Everyone had hope that the Sox grabbed, chewed up and spit right back in the Jays face.

They got absolutely smoked and everyone was like "oh right this team is trash"

I wonder if Seattle gives Matt Brash another shot at starting.

Looking at their rotation, Chris Flexen and his sparkling 8.86 ERA is currently their 5th starter. Most Mariner fans agree he's ass. Nothing in Seattle's system indicates there's a candidate for callup either.

Just went through the 2023 stats for the top 30 Jays prospects. Major suckage. Hope the group can get things turned around.

Rays lost. They struggled scoring runs against the Astros. Think their offence overachieved.

They have the garbage CWS next and then the surprisingly decent PIT before starting a stretch of 23 games against teams who will compete for the playoffs. It will be a shock to the system lol

Jays are rolling! If Kikuchi and Berrios can keep this up it just adds another huge layer to this team. On another note, is it just me or the Yankees look super ordinary. Outside of Judge and Cole they don’t scare anyone

Before Maeda served up endless meatballs today, Yankees had a lower wRC+ than the A's lol. They will live and die by their pitching

Yanks were slightly overrated coming into the season but let's be fair. They have a similar record as us so far and like half there team is injured.

To take it a bit further, the Rays don’t play an easier team until June 13th.

At least half their team also had George Springer-level injury concerns coming in to the season, though, so it's no exactly like the injuries are some unfortunate fluke or something... it's how the team was built.
