I think you can throw a little sentiment in there but yes they were clearly the 2 best options for this team. We simply weren't replacing a #1 D and our 2 C at these cost.

As I said Hex really only needs to show loyalty to FSG as Geno nor Letang has won anything since he came on board. To sign them both at those hits is a work of art, dont care what anyone says and I believe it gave him some wiggle room to improve this team even more
