Confirmed with Link: Malkin re-signs to a 4 year, $6.1 million AAV deal (Eklund called it, start singing his praises)

you can tell if you pay close attention to national tweets and then their tweets. They are always crafting tweets that make it seem like they're relevant and adding something
Honestly going back to the early 2000s I feel much of the Pittsburgh media never really had their hands around hockey. Its just something to talk about when the Steelers are done.

It may not have been that way but its just the way I feel

Zucker looked good when he played. Call me crazy but I don’t want him gone, I’m riding the experiment to death. f*** it.
moving him for nothing and signing a healthier player > not moving him and getting something out of him and letting his contract expire >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> paying someone to take him off our hands

Eklund called it…we have to give credit where credit is due…lol
It does deserve to live in this thread. Possibly the first time an e4 turned true.

I want Zucker gone, but letting him plod through the final year of his contract is better than paying someone to take him, or buying him out like some want to do.

I somehow agree with both of these statements

Unless we have something sweet to move him I am pretty much in the same boat. You hate to pay the 5 for what he has done so far but unless you are getting better by somehow moving him you gotta eat it and hope he can stay healthy and show some of the flashes he has.

Health is his biggest obstacle right now and you got to feel for him a little, you know he wants to be out there and I do like the way he carries himself and around the team

I just hope Zucker actually stays healthy because I feel like a Zucker-Rakell winger duo for Malkin is one of the better winger duos he's had in a long time.

Which you can simultaneously argue is pathetic as it is encouraging.
