He's got one more game, too. Does the NCAA tourney count for season stats? I know the conference ones do.

“I am a firm believer that Kyle Connor is the best player I’ve ever played against, and I even told him that in the handshake line,†Lions forward David Goodwin said. “It’s fun to watch.â€
“It’s pretty hard to talk about an award right now, but he’s having a Hobey Baker season,†Michigan coach Red Berenson said. “Let’s put it that way. Brendan (Morrison) had a Hobey Baker career; he was a senior when he went through this and so was Kevin Porter. There’s not many freshmen who could have a Hobey Baker season, but Kyle Connor’s having it.â€
Added Penn State coach Guy Gadowsky: “He does everything very quickly. I can’t explain it. I don’t know. I think it’s what you can’t really explain that makes him so darn good.â€

Michigan forward Kyle Connor was going through the traditional postgame handshake line when he was approached by Penn State’s David Goodwin. Goodwin wanted to share his thoughts about Connor, the Wolverines’ talented freshman.
“I’m a firm believer that Kyle Connor is the best player I’ve ever played against, and I even told him that in the handshake line,†said Goodwin, who also recalled playing against Johnny Gaudreau. “It’s fun to watch, but yeah, they’re pretty incredible.â€
"Quick" Kyle Connor is something to behold in his freshman season.
He sees the play develop quicker than anyone else, quickly spots the opening the goalie is giving him, no matter how slight, and then quickly releases it with velocity and pin-point accuracy.
"Kyle has great instincts," said Berenson. "He has such good offensive instincts. He knows where the puck's going to go. He's kind of like a Gretzky-type player. He knows where the puck's going to go, and he's jumping in that hole, and JT (Compher's) smart enough to find him."
When asked what, of all his tools, is Connor's most impressive, Nittany Lions coach Guy Gadowsky said, "Probably the one that's hardest to define. Like, he does everything very, very quickly. But he just seems to have that innate ability that he just puts himself in such, like it's amazing how he just gets himself into such an offensive advantageous position.
"And it's just -- I can't explain it. I think it's really what you can't explain that just makes him so darn good."
Goodwin, who assisted on both Penn State goals, recalled playing against the Boston College line of 2014 Hobey Baker winner Johnny Gaudreau, Kevin Hayes and Bill Arnold two years ago. Each of those players made it to the NHL, with Gaudreau making a huge impact with the Calgary Flames.
"The only line that comes to mind is playing against Johnny Gaudreau, Arnold and Hayes a couple years ago," said Goodwin.

I don't think the Isles were ever eyeing Connor but good lord, he is special.
Totally rooting for 16 and 17 overall picks, hopefully Jets and Isles fans can rejoice in that instead of the Hamonic/Trouba garbage on the trade forum.
If Connor was in this year draft, would he be ahead of Matthews?
