Not that it's going to matter for Hobey voting, but Connor's definitely above that in conference play with his last assist: B1G 22GP 27+24=51 2.32P/GP.

The whole draft I kept praying I'd see Bettman come up to say we'd traded for 6th overall, then 7th, then 8th in hopes we could land this kid. Imagine my freakout when not only was he available at 17, but we picked him too!
I'm starting to think I have an eye for prospects: PLD no matter what.

As a huge fan who had him 6th overall at the draft, I was expecting him to be a very good player in the NCAA. Was hoping for 45-50 pts if everything went well.

But 70 pts ? He's even better than the 6th overall position I gave him IMO. The guy is the real deal. And he seems to clutch when it matters too.

Very jealous of the Jets, even if the Avs probably got a steal in Rantanen as well.

You don't think Connor can be at least the better goal scorer of the 2? Eichel will have a bigger impact on the game as a whole but Connor has parts of his game that trump Eichel imo.
