I would not rule out Connor from going back to Center one day. If he does, he and Scheifele could be something special as a 1-2 punch down the middle.

I cannot wait till he starts his pro career... im not totally against him spending a half of a season in the AHL just to get accustomed to pro hockey, but soon he will be lighting it up in Winnipeg

Connor at center would be interesting. We have so many wing prospects right now.

I believe he played Center for Youngstown his draft year. He's still listed as a Center on Elite Prospects. He and Larkin share a similar path that may include the NHL. Both will likely come in as wingers into the NHL, and convert to Center. I can see a major advantage of having him as the #3C to Scheifele and Little. When he is ready he can move up the depth chart to ideally #2 behind Scheifele. This versatility is a bonus.

Connor's play style is very much that of a winger, I can't see him playing center at the NHL level. His game reminds me of a left shooting Phil Kessel

I see Roslovic as a more likely C in the future.

Roslovic and Connor were dynamic at the recent development camp. It was expected from Connor, but Roslovic played at a much higher level than many expected. He was outstanding.

Jets back into Connor and Laine 2 years in a row. One Connor was available at #17 and Laine was the lottery win/move up of the draft.

As a NHL fan, I can't wait to see what this team can do with the amount of talent they have on the horizon.

...and Ehlers the year before Connor. Jets are loaded with young talented forwards.

Well, he just threw it in front of the net and got lucky that Connor was there to receive it. Doubt he even saw him.

Hehe yeah probably. Connor was in good position and the defender wasn't. Connor made no mistake and roofed it

Worded well - shouldn't be such a big deal but it is.

Probably feels this way for all teams, but man we have a lot of guys that don't know how to ****ing just FINISH it.

Like sometimes when a player receives a pass it's just obvious that its going to be a goal. See it on other teams highlights all the time. Oh nice good pass with player completely prepared and its it in. Yet seen lots of fails from Jets players on this...

Lets hope Connor and Laine can do this. And hope Connor (Michigan kid) doesn't hate Winnipeg AND/OR go underutilized by the Jets.

Stuart's pass was a miracle pass I think he had no idea what happened for most of that 30 second period.

Nice goal, but I'm more surprised that mark stuart was able to receive the pass, protect the puck as he spun, and give a no look pass to a open connor. Didn't think he was capable of doing anything good puck related.

"How did I do that?"
