I think it's time everyone in the NHL starts taking notice of the Calgary Flames. They seem to be a top notch drafting team now.

Johnny looks like he might be the real deal. Sure its a small sample. Buts its a small sample for any rookie. Hate to see that it was the Flames were the ones who took the chance on him with a 4th.

Or were? Feaster is gone.

Are.

Button is still director of scouting. Not to take away Feaster's 'trust' in Button, but all he did was just go by what Button thought. Webster retiring will be a big hole to fill, however.

Met Webster last year. Can't say enough good things about that man.

And this is what happens:

I saw Darren McCarty make a play like this before. Aka one highlight, where he didn't even score, doesn't make a career.

With that said, that was an incredible move, he's certainly getting better as the season comes along, as expected.

Where did nbwingsfan go? And Devonator?

Lol these guys are looking like fools . . .

Sorry I have other activities to do on weekends rather than posting on a message board.

He was looking you look like a fool for his first 5 games, so what's your point?

As I've said multiple times, he's one of the most skilled prospects in the game, lets see how he does over a full season.

you and that first 5 games.

You do realize most players get better as they adjust to the NHL right? He also looked good in those games, he wasn't making anyone look like a fool.

The only person looking like a fool is you when you run your mouth when you say dumb things like that.

Watch that backpedal. You may fall off a cliff
Also LMAO at you having 'better things to do' you have posted more than any other poster in this thread. It's no coincidence that as soon as JG starts putting up points you have nothing to say or do but backpedal.

And what exactly am I back peddling on now? Did I say he's an NHL player? Yup. Did I say he's incredinly skilled? Yup. Did I say he's been looking better? Yup. Did I say he's too small to be a star at the NHL level? Yup, and that remains to be seen.
