Cole Eiserman thinks Cole Eiserman will score a lot of NHL goals and I would agree. Feels like a case of a player who got overscouted... His engagement level was just fine the few games I saw him.
9 goals in his first 12 games played as a freshman. Incredible.
Scoring wise, absolutely.
Is he doing better on the things that saw him fall to where he did? Scoring goals has never been an issue for him.
Already has scored more goals then Wahlstrom did at BUSort of disappointing, he is not keeping up his goal a game pace he had last year
......yes I am being sarcastic
as a rangers fan, annoying to see this kid lighting it up. Isles got a good one. they need a triggerman with this kind of juice in the worst way.
This is one of those things. I can understand about 5 of the players drafted ahead of him. But there are a few there that are baffling imo unless one takes the Farkas view that Eiserman is the next Dave Chyzowski - stupid as a box of rocks but with a shot. I saw Dave Chyzowski play. He was stupid, lazy, and crazy. Eiserman definitely grinds, and goes where the goals are.I by no means am a draft expert and I am sure somebody will point to me where I might be wrong in a few cases but once Minnesota picked that high end defenseman 12th, I don't see how 8 teams passed on Eiserman
7 points so far in 6 games on limited icetime and second unit PP.
While i get the 13th forward thing I don't understand why he isn't on the first unit PP. The bulk of his points were on the 2nd unit PP, imagine if he got more icetime doing what he is really good at.
The PP coach is Burnevik’s college coach.I'm curious if Carle is sticking to using Burnevik on PP1 because of the jobs he wants that player to perform - namely retrievals and going to jam around the crease while the rest of the latent does their thing. Who takes that job on, with Leonard and Perreault already as the low flank options. And it's not like the 2nd US unit hasn't had quality opportunities. Carle doesn't usually run just his top group out for a full man advantage.

I think he’ll probably have one of those NHL careers where he’ll be useless most of the time and you’ll be criticizing him for it and then he’ll score a big goal and you’ll be like “Of course he did that” in an ironic manner.
I think he has a lot of similarities to Wahlstrom, which Isles fans might not like, but the one way he differs from Wahlstrom significantly is I feel he’s a lot more intense and cares a lot and wants to be great.
Burneviks college coach runs the PP for team USA. That said, I'm pleased to see the kid stuffing some crow down the faces of doubters, myself included. I wonder if he's going to have a sort of Phil Kessel career arc from being pre-draft sullied to just a well-known character in the NHL.
Eiserman is one of the best bad players you’ll ever see. I’ll maintain he’s not that good at hockey, but the dude can absolutely score goals with the best of them.
Wahlstrom is the class clown everyone likes. Eiserman is ... different. I think he's going to need patience. Again, it's important to remember that if Eiserman were born 17 days later he would've been draft eligible in 2025. imo he will be served best not by not signing this summer.I think he has a lot of similarities to Wahlstrom, which Isles fans might not like, but the one way he differs from Wahlstrom significantly is I feel he’s a lot more intense and cares a lot and wants to be great. I think he’s maybe a little too limited to be great, but don’t doubt for a second that he has a mentality that few do and Wahlstrom certainly didn’t and why he’ll probably at least be a more impactful NHL’er.
