Didnt the Goose start off red hot a few years back?
He did but he was already 24 and had two partial seasons under his belt.

Ohh yeah , as a wings fan i wasn’t trying to downplay Raymond, i just remembered Goose being on a long streak. He did but he was already 24 and had two partial seasons under his belt.
Id like to mention the Red Wing rookie of the year 04-05, The Mule too, in this conversationOhh yeah , as a wings fan i wasn’t trying to downplay Raymond, i just remembered Goose being on a long streak.

Well last night the Hawks fans were cheering for Detroit by the end of the game, so I would have to say no.Is Chicago Detroit rivalry still a thing?
he scored 23 goals in 28 games between January 20th and the end of the season one year which was the most in the NHL over that timeframe
Realistically the rivalry was just a historic one by fans due to relative proximity. The two team's peaks didn't really coincide, and outside of some shenanigans in the 2009 ECF (Kronwall hitting Havlat, Sharp spearing Lidstrom in the testicles) there hasnt been much bad blood on the ice.Is Chicago Detroit rivalry still a thing?
He was so good during that stretch. And it came during a time when Datsyuk and Zetterberg were missing games with injuries. Nyquist was leading the offense playing with Franzen and then Legwand, the Jurco-Sheahan-Tatar line was a spark plug in the ozone, and Glendening stepped in and took on all the defensive assignments that Datsyuk and Zetterberg usually ate up. It was an exciting stretch where they got us in the playoffs and it seemed like the youth movement was on a nice path.he scored 23 goals in 28 games between January 20th and April 2nd one year which was the most in the NHL over that timeframe
He nearly had a Datsyukian goal; absolutely robbed by Bob.
I wonder if they could make a serious play for Eichel without moving much off their current roster? Do the Sabres bite on...

Weegar is a really good dman too, and he did that to him when he was barely even skating. Look out when hes 25 and has his full man body

It sounds funny, but the Wings biggest WCF rival their last few years in the West were undoubtedly Anaheim and San Jose.
Only walked through Weegar, Ekblad and Barkov. No big deal.Weegar is a really good dman too, and he did that to him when he was barely even skating. Look out when hes 25 and has his full man body

9 in 9 currently. My pre season prediction was 60 and I think he'll hit that.
