I find this hard to tell on TV. I went to a Canucks vs SJ playoff game in 2013. It was stupid loud, Lost my voice. Watched highlights next day on TV and it was just avg on the TV.
Lol how can you tell they aren’t from the city? It’s going to be absolutely bonkers at Roger’s arena with the white towels. especially those out of town but not out of province Canucks fans who do nothing but get f***ed up and leave a wake of obnoxiousness and mess.
islanders fan with an unbiased take on msg hereUBS is 1000x better than MSG during the playoffs and I’ve been to games in both. UBS has similar acoustics to Nassau Coliseum.
I've been to all the tri-state arenas. Carolina on a Wednesday night was louder than MSG. That building had a great atmosphere when I watched them play the Devils. Not to knock on MSG but it's the honest truth.islanders fan with an unbiased take on msg here
Not sure if it’s just the mic setup but Tampa is surprisingly quiet for a team with so much success.
I wouldnt say that Florida is the top, but its funny how some ridicule people for having them up there. All buildings are loud in the playoffs, some more than others. Florida has a younger crowd than other arenas, which is a plus for them. If Im not mistaken, I believe that is what gives Carolina an advantage too. Like Toronto to me sounds more stuffy on TV, because of the type of person in attendance.
The Vancouver crowd can be lacklustre but it's a different story in the playoffs. The atmosphere can be deafening in the postseason!Quietest - Corporate crowd in Toronto
Loudest - honestly most of them, I’ll say Vancouver only because they’re back in the dance and have a good team with expectations
I was at the Montreal-Rangers playoff games in 2017 in MSG with a bunch of people from work. It doesn’t even touch anything at the Coliseum. You’ve got Barclays beat but that’s about it. UBS is insanely loud as well due to the specs of the arena.islanders fan with an unbiased take on msg here
The suits aren't there in the playoffs. You know what happens when you assume, right?Rogers Place in Edmonton will be bonkers inside and outside the building as per usual
I assume the suits in Toronto will be the quietest
"real fans" show up during the playoffs and pay those astronomical prices? The suits aren't there in the playoffs. You know what happens when you assume, right?

fans of teams that chant "rangers suck" at games against each other apparently swear that rangers stadium experience is dogshit. news at 8I was at the Montreal-Rangers playoff games in 2017 in MSG with a bunch of people from work. Aren’t you guys still crying over a defenseman from 40 years ago?fans of teams that chant "rangers suck" at games against each other apparently swear that rangers stadium experience is dogshit. news at 8
Tickets are pretty close to the same cost right now in both Edmonton and Toronto, FYI."real fans" show up during the playoffs and pay those astronomical prices?
they didn't last year
yep, in PNC's case it's just simple acoustic design. Like if someone wanted to make a 19K person arena deliberately as loud as they could I'd hand them the blueprints to PNC and say go from there.I didn’t realize just how loud Carolina was until I had the opportunity to visit some other arenas over the past few years. I’m not saying the fans are better than any other group, but it’s just really ****ing LOUD in there.
