Laval Rocket: GDT: Game FOUR Cleveland at Laval 7PM EST

I actually didn't watch game three. I skipped it thinking the series was over (or I had to work, you pick which is true!)
If Primeau wasn't sharp Laval would have been down 3-4 goals in the first period. That was the worst Laval effort I have seen all year. I like Fowler and am completely ok with him playing but that loss was on 18 skaters, not on the goalie.

The Primeau deserved to play game 3 argument because it's time to win and not worry about development doesn't really apply when a guy gets 2 games and wins both of them.

Totally different case if he went 1-1
You have to watch those 3 games. The team played well in the first 2 games. Crap in the 3rd. They CAN'T be used to evaluate the goaltenders.

The one issue I have with Vincent right now is having 5 AHL vets in the top 6 while two 24 goal scorers are on the 4th line.
If 2 guys have 24 goals on a line, is it a 4th line? Maybe it's just a good line?

I'm saying this without finding their TOI stats

-ABB needs to be way better tonight. He FANNED on a 2 on 0 and made a terrible turnover on the 3-0 goal on the PP

-Kappy needs to actually burry his chances. He was the most dangerous forward last game.

-Reinbacher needs a big bounce back game, so does the whole defense core but Reinbacher was especially playing below his level in game 3.

Reinbacher and Engstrom were horrible as a pair.

That's a great point but you can't deny that by loading up the vets with top 6 minutes it has allowed the prospects to develop without added pressure. I do think that Xhekaj and Davidson both of whom scored 24 goals each should get more ice time, same with Beck.

We were complaining all year that Rottenberg put Demidov on the forth line & gave him shitty minutes….just sayin?

Is Owen Beck heading for a healthy scratch next?
What a huge disappointment since getting sent back.

This guy went from a player who was getting constantly noticed and talked about early season to this.
I can't help but wonder did something untowards happen during his call up?

I remember a video clip of Marty getting as angry as I've ever seen him at practice and Beck was front and center. It's hard to know as it could have been anyone or everyone in the drill.
One thing is for certain he's definitely lost some plumage.

Xhekaj imo has passed him on the prospect chart. Beck has to get his game going.
