Matvei Michkov is the best Russian prospect since Alexander Ovechkin. I'm gonna say it, Michkov is the 2nd best NHL prospect since Connor McDavid. Matthews is not included because I think Tkachuk is a better overall player. Cale Makar was not projected to be this good either.

Get a top pairing D. Complete the future D core: Jiricek, Guhle, Hutson, Xhekaj, Barron, Mailloux. PLD is coming anyways so Habs already have 5 of their future top 6 in Suzuki, Caufield, Dach, Slaf, and PLD. Add in a 2024 FA signing of Sorokin and Habs have a great looking core
