Absolutely spot on. Lombardi has been amazing for the Kings organization and has put together a great tenure but his loyalty to players is starting to catch up to him. Matt Greene and Mike Richards should not be LA Kings right now. Willie Mitchell should still be here. It's very simple. Hindsight is 20/20 but this one was bad, real bad. I'm ok with this being a throw away season, it's quite disappointing but getting a good pick and the Kings organization finally realizing that there is an issue here, will be a good thing. Stoll needs to go too, time for some young blood and young guys.

Another realist. Thanks for adding to the original post. Just have to face facts.

BTW, that kind of selfish play by Courture, shooting at an empty net from his own zone with at one goal lead is why the Sharks will never win jack.

It was incredibly selfish, but again considering it was Logan Couture it's not surprising. He will follow in the footsteps of Patty and Jumbo Joe with nothing but a bunch of empty points to show for his NHL career.

Can't wait to see Logan crying on twitter again this spring after the Guppies are again dusted off in the playoffs.

I think this one is a bigger issue than usual. I also think that last season we were in a playoff spot this time and never lost it, same with the season before. Only season I remember not being in a playoff spot at this time of the year was in 2012. I could be wrong though.

I don't think we had a 6-14 stretch in any of the previous 3 seasons.

There's major problems with this team right now, but we've won two Cups so I guess the team gets a pass for garbage play.

Richards-Stoll-Williams was the most vanilla line I've ever seen. They didn't do anything glaringly bad, but I can't remember anything they did in the offensive zone, not even a quality forecheck.

If I set the over/under on 1.5 on these three being Kings next Fall what is your side of the bet.
