Yep, although if their is a to get away with it against it's probably Buffalo.

True.

Curious why your so sure its him? I think Forberts a better choice He needs his cup of coffee and this is the perfect time What better time against a weak team and on the road?

Regardless of what anyone says on here, Schultz has extensive NHL experience. I wouldn't be shocked if anyone can up, but my money is on Schultz.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I have a few reasons:

A) Solid playoff performance
B) Why would he re-sign here unless he got some assurance that he would be the first call in the event of injury etc, when he probably could have gotten a full-time NHL gig (albeit on a bad team), I know his deal doesn't give him more money when in the NHL. But I gotta think the travel among other things are nicer in the NHL.

Since when has a comment being dirrected at someone else ever stopped anyone :sarcasm:

All good reasons i guess Althou i think if he had a garenteed nhl job he would have taken it. His passing thru waivers sorta a hint to me he didn't have one.

I think the multiple years on the deal might have kept people away on waivers, especially when teams pretty much already have their lineups set in early october.

Was anyone at the Meet the Kings thing today? At the alumni/broadcast table, I want to say one of the guys was Rob Blake but I can't read his signature. lol Can anyone verify if he was there?

After some careful research, someone on LGK mentioned it was Modry.

I often say Modry was my favorite mediocre/bad player from the garbage seasons and I didn't even know I got to meet him. I shall cherish his signature on my jersey... right near Dwight King's.

It truly was an awesome day.

forbert makes sense I don't think he needs waivers to go back. Gives the kings a look at him and him to get a taste Also help him know what he needs to work on. All the way around a good idea.

Schultz wouldn't need waivers to go back either so long as he was up for less than 30 days or 10 games.

"Its no secret within the organization that McNabb will be given every opportunity to earn that spot on the second pairing next to Slav- err Robyn Regehr...."

I don't have a link yet, I heard from a friend who works with the Kings. As soon as I can get my hands on anything official I'll post it.

Okay thanks Alisa. I will update the GDT as soon as I see it.

Looks like we got an insider! ;)
