OT: Los Angeles Angels Talk

Don't even know what to say at this point. Contributing nothing with this post to this thread in the hopes of charity likes for virtual self-esteem.

Franchise is forever cursed.

We need to stop this ludicrous skid now!

Someone tell Taylor Ward to stop running into walls. It's not worth it man, your bat is worth more than whatever bullshit drs metric Maddon is selling you

The Ducks could go full Edmonton post-lockout to pre-McDavid, and they would NEVER make me feel the despair that this team does on a consistent basis. It’s nothing but pain.

Time to wake up and fire someone, Arte

We need Bedard that would be a McDavid like win.

Yet another blown save loss. Gave up 7 runs in the last two innings! ugh. Lost 11 in a row and are under .500. bleah!!!!!!

Ohtani won't re- sign imo and Arte is not gonna let them trade Ohtani til it's too late and they get only a deadline package for him before he hits UFA.

Arte will milk as much marketing and ticket sales out of Ohtani before they'd even trade him.
Arte doesn't care about building a winner, if he did he'd not have cut down the team's international scouting budget and overall downsize of the front office and scouting. It's about building buzz off high priced FA signings to build hype for fans to fill seats with them thinking that maybe this is the year they are good (every year).

I got my hopes up un April for nothing.

Arte needs to go into hiding and let Minasian hire his own guy.
In my opinion Arte is a blow hard guy who knows everything and never makes a wrong decision. I wonder why he even bothers to hire a general manager. After all, baseball is an easy game, "You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball."

Imagine if there is people who are Oilers/Angels fans. Seeing Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Draisaitl and McDavid waste away on teams with such horrid owners and management.

Arte needs a puppet so the masses don't blame him despite it's his choice to always go long ball over pitching. The long ball attracts people and that's all he cares about b/c it does bring in revenue. Arte parlayed an aging Pujols worth $254 mil into a 20-year contract with Fox Sports West for $3 billion. I thought he would use that extra money to go over the luxury tax to get players (pitchers) to keep vying for the playoffs. But losing profit is more detrimental to him than a losing team.

I wonder if Trout will ever reach 150+ games played in a season again in his career. Always injured every year.
2016 was the last time Mike Trout played 150+ games in a season.
2018 was the last time Mike Trout played 140+ games in a season.
Not something that gets better with age.

I know Marah wasn't lighting it up but putting Suzuki in for him is a move you make to lose. I'd take my chances with Marsh

I know the analytics crowd hates alot of old school ideas but in the 9th and 10th you own a runner on 2nd with no outs...and fail to even move the runner

When youre struggling f*** all that no Bunting shit you get that runner over to 3rd especially with who was at the plate. I know all of people hated Scioscia at the end but one of the things he was right about was executing fundamentals
